Project entitled “A multilingual world is waiting for you. Teachers for the students' future " will be implemented in the period from July 1, 2019 to June 30, 2021.

Projects implemented under the KA1 action "Mobility of school education staff" in the field of school education are aimed at improvement of the quality of work of an educational institution achieved by the participation of its employees in foreign mobility, such as courses and training, during which they improve their own professional competences.

School employees have the opportunity to learn about modern and innovative methods of teaching and managing an educational institution, which will allow the achievement of the main goal of the project, which is to improve the quality of the institution's work in the areas specified by it that require changes and to deepen international cooperation.

Supported activities

As part of the project, in the KA1 action "Mobility of school education staff", in addition to standard activities included in the project life cycle, 20 employees of the School and Kindergarten Complex No. 3 in Poznań will participate in the following types of trips abroad:

  • organized courses or trainings abroad: support the professional development of teachers, school leaders or other staff involved in school education;

The project relates to the Erasmus + objectives in the school education sector as described in Program guide, takes into account the individual needs of the school, serves the implementation of new solutions observed abroad and contributes to the improvement of professional qualifications of school employees.


Taking into account the needs analysis of the institution and its development plan, the school defined the following project goals:

  • increasing the competences of 20 teachers in the field of foreign language skills,
  • modernizing the workshop of all teaching staff of the facility,
  • initializing min. 2 international projects in each school year,
  • increasing the use of eTwinning among teachers to 30%,
  • organization of min. 4 events in the school year promoting an attitude of openness and tolerance.

Activities planned in the project include:

  • preparing participants for mobility,
  • logistic organization of trips,
  • training:
  1. Polish language course Italian (Taormina, Italy) - teacher of English English,
  2. Polish language course French (Montpellier, France) - teacher of English,
  3. Five language courses English (Dublin - Ireland, St. Julians and St. Paul's Bay - Malta, Limassol - Cyprus, Edinburgh - Great Britain) - 13 teachers (mathematics, computer science, physics, chemistry, biology, nature, Polish, early childhood education, common room school, supporting students with intellectual disabilities), including the deputy headmaster of the school,
  4. "Fluency and English Language Development for Teachers" (St. Julians, Malta) - early childhood education teacher,
  5. "The Creative Classroom: Tools and Tips for Language Teachers (Florence, Italy) - Polish language teacher. English,
  6. "TEL - Technology Enhanced Learning (St. Julians, Malta) - school psychologist,
  7. Teacher Refresher Course (Dublin, Ireland) - 2 language teachers. English.
  • establishing contacts and exchanging experiences with other training participants,
  • visits to local primary schools in order to learn about their functioning and find partners for cooperation,
  • getting to know the history and culture of the region and collecting authentic materials,
  • disseminating the acquired knowledge and experience at school,
  • disseminating the results of the project outside,
  • project management,
  • evaluation.

A method of project management throughout the entire period of its implementation has been established, for which the management team will be responsible. Procedures for reporting, monitoring of participants' work, budget management and storing project documentation were defined. The schedule of the project team meetings as well as the methods and tools of communication were established. Each of the project participants received a scope of tasks for which they are responsible. A schedule of activities was established and plans were prepared: implementation of the results of mobility at school, dissemination of project results outside the school, project evaluation, and risk management.

Thanks to the implementation of the project, all participants will improve their language competences. Two teachers will be able to sit the exams and obtain certificates that will enable them to teach Italian and French. The school plans to enrich its educational offer with learning these languages. Chemistry, biology, science, mathematics and computer science teachers will be able to introduce specialized English vocabulary in subject lessons and extracurricular activities.

Ultimately, the school wants to implement bilingual education. Teachers will be able to help students of other nationalities learn English more effectively. Polish, use the eTwinning platform and source materials, take part in international projects and conferences, exchange experiences with teachers from abroad. The school library will be enriched with source materials. There will be a bank of lesson plans, available to all teachers. The curriculum will be modernized and expanded to include CLIL techniques, task-based learning, communication-based language teaching, content-based and ICT learning, multimedia tools, programs, applications, project work, drama, authentic materials, storytelling, classroom and music publications. The increase in the language and professional competences of teachers will translate directly into an increase in the level of education and better student results.

Bearing in mind the welfare of the pupils and the environment in which they operate, the school strives to equalize their chances for a good start in further life, giving them the opportunity to learn about different languages ​​and cultures. Thanks to the established contacts, the school will be able to expand the scope of international cooperation, including for student exchanges, which will strengthen its European character and competitiveness in the education market. Integration with peers from partner schools will help to educate a tolerant student, open to otherness and diversity.
