EUROPEAN UNION DAY 2022
On May 9, 2022 we celebrated the European Union Day at school. The students wore clothes in the colors of the flag of the country assigned to them. Younger students listened to fairy tales from around the world and made art works related to the assigned country. Beautiful works were created concerning culture, artists, sportsmen, nature, tourist attractions, and regional cuisines of various countries.
Older students participated in a meeting with the former teacher of our school, Ms Danuta Płotkowiak, who told them about life in Spain and Cuba and listened to the reports of students participating in the Erasmus + trip to Turkey. At the end of the meeting, the students, together with Mr. Juliusz Kłos, sang the anthem of the European Union.
After returning to classes, students in groups of 5-6 made models of characteristic buildings from the assigned country and took part in a quiz testing their knowledge about the European Union. The most interesting works were displayed in the school halls and assessed by the jury.

Promotion of Erasmus+ projects

At the Education Fair of Mathematics Methodologists, Grażyna Karczyńska promoted Erasmus + projects conducted in our school. She also conducted workshops and conferences at the Teacher Training Centre. At the national conferences of the Association of Mathematics Teachers and Mathematics, our invisible culture conducted classes presenting the use of mathematics in Erasmus + projects.
During all project mobilities in which our students and teachers participated, there was also an opportunity to promote other K2 Erasmus+ projects.
Twice articles about our projects were published in Świerczewo newspapers.
EUROPEAN DAY OF FOREIGN LANGUAGES 2021
Last Monday we celebrated the European Day of Foreign Languages. The classes prepared posters with drawn tongues that were hung on the door of the classrooms. All students can learn about the linguistic diversity of our continent. On this occasion, in grade 8a, a short film with a dialogue was made, the younger students greeted their older colleagues in many languages, and in chemistry lessons, the ubiquitous oxygen turned into oxygen. We hope that despite the prevailing school restrictions, it was a successful day.
Best Regards,
